WHAT IS GAMECHANGERS?

GAMECHANGERS is a global talent search launched by CUPRA in collaboration with the Padel Tribe and the International Padel Federation, created with one bold purpose: to discover and propel the next generation of padel players.

This isn’t just a contest; it is a unique opportunity to win a CUPRA Scholarship and take your padel journey to the next level.

When:

The contest will span 8 international stops, held during Premier Padel tournaments in the following cities: Bordeaux, Málaga, Barcelona, Madrid, a city in Germany (TBC), Rotterdam, Milan, and Mexico,  culminating in a grand final in Barcelona.

How it works

Each GAMECHANGERS stop will be held during the same week and at the same venue as in selected Premier Padel tournament. This gives young players a unique opportunity to compete in the heart of the action, on the Premier Padel activation and central court.

Here’s how the selection process works:

  • 1st step: Apply Online

One month before each tournament, applications open on the official website. Participation is individual — to enter, each player must submit a short video and complete a brief questionnaire. This confirms their entry into the contest.

  • 2nd phase: Activation Court – Premier Padel Tournament

From all first-round submissions, 56 players will be selected to take part in the in-person trial on the Activation Court during the Premier Padel tournament, 28 on Friday and 28 on Saturday.

Each participant may bring one guest and will receive a Welcome Pack and a ticket to enjoy the full day at Premier Padel.

On Friday, the 28 selected players will go through a series of on-court challenges, and 4 of them (2 girls and 2 boys) will be pre-selected. If they live more than 120 km away, these players will be provided with hotel accommodation to stay for Saturday.

On Saturday, the other 28 players will complete their trials. From this group and the 4 pre-selected players from Friday, 8 finalists will be chosen to advance to the final round.

  • Final Stage – Central Court

The top 8 players from the Activation Court will step onto the iconic Central Court of Premier Padel, competing live in front of fans. Only 4 winners , 2 girls and 2 boys, will be chosen at each stop to advance to the BARCELONA FINALS.

The winners will be announced before the Premier Padel women's final and will receive their trophy in front of the Premier Padel crowd.

Barcelona Finals

All winners from each tournament, (32 in total) will be flown to Barcelona, all expenses paid, for an unforgettable experience during the Premier Padel Finals: top-tier training, elite competition, and the chance to win the ultimate reward, the CUPRA Scholarship.

All participants can bring one guest, with travel and accommodation covered for the entire week in Barcelona ,  including full access to enjoy the Premier Padel Finals live.

Here’s how the final selection works:

  • Bootcamp – CUPRA Club

Over two days (Thursday and Friday of the Premier Padel Barcelona Finals), the 32 finalists will train and compete at a CUPRA partner club. From this stage, 16 players will be selected to advance to the next round.

  •  Activation Court – Semi-Final Round

The 16 players selected from the 2-day bootcamp will compete for a spot in the final on the Activation Court during Saturday at the Premier Padel Finals in Barcelona.

  • GAMECHANGERS Final – Central Court

Only 4 (2 men and 2 women) will be selected and awarded the scholarship.
