RECALL ACTION: DEFECTIVE PLASTIC COVERS ON THE LOCKING MECHANISM

SEAT S.A. found out about some defective plastic covers on the locking mechanism used in production of the roof box CUPRA part number 000071200AK.

Some locking mechanisms used in the production roof box top cover could be incorrect, which may lead to damage to the roof box itself and to the car too. In extreme cases the lid of the roof box can fly off and cause a road accident.

SEAT S.A. strongly recommends not to use the roof box and contact your nearest CUPRA dealer.

If your roof box is affected, your CUPRA dealer will collect the roof box and you will receive a full refund for your purchase.
