CUPRA Tavascan and Formentor VZ5 join Forza Horizon 5

Players of Xbox Game Studios’ and Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 5 can now choose two new CUPRA models to take on the challenges of the virtual racing game. The CUPRA Formentor VZ5 and CUPRA Tavascan are now joining the CUPRA UrbanRebel Racing Concept in Forza Horizon 5.

The CUPRA Formentor VZ5 is a pure representation of combustion performance, mixing cutting-edge design with high performance to power racers beyond the limits. The CUPRA Tavascan is our first all-electric SUV Coupé, a car that takes sportiness and emotion to the core of electric driving. The virtual version of the Tavascan for Forza Horizon 5 gives gamers the chance to get behind the wheel of the car before it hits the streets in 2024.

Forza Horizon 5 will also now feature two new CUPRA branded race events. Driving the Tavascan, racers can gain extra points on the virtual race rack, testing their skills on the Mulegé Town Scramble. By overcoming three Formentor VZ5 challenges, racers will be able to unlock a CUPRA Race suit to make their avatars stand apart from the pack.

Our collaboration doesn’t stop there, as CUPRA City Garages will also join in with the installation of a branded racing simulator at the City Garages in Milan, Lisbon, Munich, Sydney and Mexico, giving visitors the chance to immerse themselves in this vibrant open world and take on the rewarding challenges of Forza Horizon 5.

The CUPRA Formentor VZ5 represents our focus on developing the purest and most powerful combustion road car in the brand’s history. It’s also the most exclusive production car to date, with a limited run of only 7,000 cars. Gamers can now experience the performance for themselves, taking it out into the open world of Forza Horizon 5 to push the car to the limits of what the game can handle.

Forza Horizon 5 is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC on Windows and Steam, and Xbox Game Pass including console, PC and Cloud Gaming (Beta) with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
